Who Am I?

When I think about myself and how I’m different from other people, I think about how I’m very creative and unique when it comes to my artwork and different types of projects that I do. I’m very independent when I try to be creative so that it represents me in a unique way.
Whenever I have a disagreement and I’m passionate about my answer I fight and try to defend myself. I love to debate about different things and I really enjoy having a voice to stand up for what I believe in. It’s very important to me that I have a say in the debate so that my opinion might make a difference.
Something I find very interesting and unique that some people say about me is that I’m very pensive. What it means is that I think about what I’m doing before I do it. I think that’s a good quality that will really help me now and forever in life.
I have a strong belief in Jesus and my catholic religion. I believe that Jesus gave his life for us and that’s why we have a place on Earth.
Something I really believe in is tolerating other countries. I don’t think it’s ok to laugh at other countries because of what they’re wearing, what they eat, or how they talk. I think we should value every individual no matter where they’re from. I also think it’s disrespectful when you discriminate against a country or people from that country.
One of the things I value is friendship. I think it’s important to have friends that you really care about and will care about you so that you have a good relationship with that person. I think someone who’s really there for you is someone who will help you take the right path in your decisions that you make in life. They will support you in making positive decisions no matter what. Friends are like another person you can talk to (besides family members) if you’re having trouble or there’s a problem you can’t solve.
I also value creativity. I think it’s very important to be who you are, who you want to be and let your true talent shine. I think creativity is a way to express yourself through anything you truly love. I think through creativity you showcase who you really are and who you’d like to become.
On a personal level, I think it’s important to work hard and find out who you are so that you can become a better person. If you stay in your comfort zone and you don’t try new things then you will never reach the point where you feel like you’ve “accomplished everything possible.” Sometimes you’ve just got to step outside the box and try a new you.
When it comes to physical health, I think I eat healthy foods and get active. With this habit in place I’m able to accomplish more things in life and I don’t have my health holding me back from trying new things.
Mentally, I think I handle myself and my emotions pretty well. I know the difference between right and wrong and I can make choices based on that. These choices reflect me and who I am. I can really think about the choices I’m making by reflecting on them whether it’s verbally, physically or personally so that I don’t make the same mistakes.
When I go out in front of a crowd of people I can’t always stand, dance, speak, socialize or act in front of the crowd. I get kind of shy and I get a little stage fright. To me I think it’s better if a large group of people came to watch me while I was at practice or something compared to a recital or performance. I think people witness the real me when I’m in my natural surroundings, actual being me compared to being at a performance and I have to smile the whole time and sometimes pretend to be someone I’m not. I’m proud to be me! Sometimes I have trouble expressing myself by not explaining why I’m sad in different situations. I just shut down and walk away and don’t talk about the problem and what’s bothering me.
I commit to believing in who I worship and I don’t have any problems. I believe it’s like a cleansing when I reflect with the Lord on my sins and realize what I’ve done wrong recently.
I have very strong relationships with all my family members. I love spending time with them because I have a blast and I feel relieved because I don’t have to deal with my responsibilities as a child and I get to enjoy time with them when I can.
I have great relationships with my friends. We laugh together, go through hard times together and we just have loads of fun when we’re together.
One of the rights I really cherish is the Freedom of Speech. Without this right I wouldn’t be able to say what I believe in and stand up for what I believe. Whenever we have debates in class I would never be able to voice my opinion and put my “2 cents” into the conversation.
Another right I hold special to my heart is the right to worship and believe in who I want to. I love the God I worship because he helps me through hard times and protects me. He is the reason I have a place on Earth.
One of my responsibilities is that very important in my family is setting a good example of my siblings. My brother and sister look up to me and they follow what I do. If I do something wrong then they may make that same mistake instead of learning from it.
Another responsibility that I have is to do my best. I get the best outcomes in anything I do when I do my best. I always try to do my best with my best foot forward and I try to have a positive attitude. With this idea in mind I get a good result and I make others and myself happy.
I think what it means to be human is to try to figure out life. When you go through life you’re always exploring and trying to figure new things out. Being human means to not be perfect. Everyone will make a mistake sometime in life; if not more mistakes whether they’re big or small. It also means to be free. If you live in the United States of America there is no doubt you will have freedom. That is something that is different from other countries that all people should enjoy.
Overall, I think I’ve really described myself and who I am. I think I really dug deep into who I was and it really helped me better understand the Unit of Inquiry. I’M PROUD OF WHO I AM AND NOTHING WILL EVER CHANGE THAT!!!
